Hi! If you're new here, please find time to view my Gallery. You may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting! :)

I haven’t been shooting out with the rest of the Nikon people in DPP, so I’m either at home or just strolling inside a mall with my cousins (which is not a good place for DSLR shooters). Here’s my share for today:

This is actually one of the figures inside my aunt’s newly-built home in the province. So far, as readers of this photo blog noticed, I’ve been really into shooting things from a rat’s eye view, or simply putting the camera on the floor with the timer on or whatsoever. For the last entry, the reason I put the camera on the floor was because the poodle there was feisty and tended to either move towards me or get scared of the lens of my Nikon D60. That picture was a heavy cropped from the original wide shot of 18mm. (Okaay, I’m getting too technichal already :P)

For those who want to have a break from shooting handheld, try shooting from the floor (a.k.a Rat’s eye view). Shooting from a different perspective can open your mind in different ways of composing an image (being aware of some floor reflections and other textures). ;) So for today’s advice…haha, think like a rat and how you would view things in their perspective! That’s a good set of pictures to start about something. ;)

Rat-thinking? Nice idea. Sometimes, I also shoot with the strap just hanging from my neck. Btw, I worked at USAP before ;)

@nan- thanks ^_^. Wow how was working at USAP? Good to hear from a former USAP employee. :)
