Inaccurate Concepts

Hi! If you're new here, please find time to view my Gallery. You may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting! :)

I remember the time that we were talking about the usual illustrations of the Adam and Eve story back in college, other than that, I’m quite familiar with Titian’s illustration of a scene in the Adam and Eve story. I do think Titian remains faithful to scripture that Adam and Eve are actually naked and didn’t find any malice in being so before they consumed the forbidden fruit. It was only after they consumed the fruit that they gained consciousness on being naked and started covering their bodies. I’m quite interested when I look at Titian’s painting below….see the serpent? It’s a child with the tail of a serpent…hmmm.

So I happened to realize that looking back at the pictures I took with other people in UP that time, only my last picture was accurate to the concept…but then I still think it lacks something or I just didn’t get the shot I wanted. I was struggling with the flash slave that one of our companions set up. Other than that, I haven’t edited the pictures that those name carvings on the tree are visible. Well, I still thank the people who found time to make the small afternoon shoot possible, especially the models.

Hmmm…I’m still quite curious since there’s this question on my mind whether Eve ate the forbidden fruit first and gained that consciousness of being naked before Adam..LOL. Whatever…as if that will make a huge difference to the Adam and Eve story.
