Kits Lens Shooting at the American War Memorial Cemetery

(Ooh..I didn’t expect this place looks good for some picnic!
hahahaha)
I was expecting that the weather today will be bad so I brought a jacket with me. It turns out that today is a really hot day, but then it was great to shoot with clear blue skies all afternoon. I did some, or rather a lot of infrared shots of the memorial but then I haven’t processed the pictures because it’s my first time to shoot that so I’ll reserve those for another post.I really got tired from all the shooting in the area and I think my skin got one shade darker because of the harsh sunlight this afternoon. :p

Is that a lens flare? :p

The small shrine (I forgot to sign the guest book! :P)

Last shot from the kit lens before I went home

nikon’s kit lens rocks…unlike the crappy one from canon
Maki: Gotta love clear skies and the kit lens of mine! It’s not a wide angle one but you can just move back, bend, lay on your back on the grass to ge the shots

Awesome colors! How did you get such vivid greens and blues without risking overexposure and without using filters?

Maki: A little touch-up using photoshop :). Subtle only since the skies were really clear and the grass on the area is really well-taken cared of
