Live Blogging at the 2008 Philippine Blog Awards

5:51 pm- Currently here at 1Esplanade here at Manila. I already ate some pasta and the rest of the people here are still either eating or looking at the booths assembled inside the area. I just spotted a smart bro booth and I’m interested in getting myself my own wireless internet subscription later. :p hehehe

6:14pm- AJ, Kring and Tiffany are the emcees. Bloggers like Jehzlau are turning on their Livestreams for the event. The event itself hasn’t started yet and I’m just getting myself preoccupied with knowing the scores in the Ateneo-LaSalle finals. Current score: 69ATENEO-61DLSU!!!! Wooooo! Ateneo won. (Sorry.. I have a bias with the Blue Eagles since I studied in the Ateneo :P)

6:31pm- The event has finally started! Opening remarks from Mrs. Noemi Lardizabal-Dado. Senator Mar Roxas is also here for the opening remarks. He recently opened his blog (or should I say twitter account? :P) to the public…hahaha he’s in a good mood also since Ateneo won…hehehe…shoot! 28mins. remaining in my laptop’s battery. I gotta find a power slot nearby. :p

6:40pm- There’s this mural nearby with all the pentel doodles from some artists from Wewilldoodle.com. I’ll take a picture of that later. Jayvee Fernandez is giving the award for the Best Blog Post for the Oktoberfest Event. The prize is 5 cases of beer..LOL.

6:47pm- The next award is from Nokia. Coy Caballes, Jepoy and  won Nokia N82s. Level-Up is giving the Best Game Blogger Award now. There’s another silly award for a blogger who is more popular offline than online, but still, there prize is nice! Arpee Lazaro won. hehehe

6:53pm- Technical problems from a video from Flippish.com, but then another award given to a blogger.

8:00pm- My laptop’s battery died so I’m updating this blog and plurking using this MSI wind laptop. Wifi is quite slow.

Oh, by the way.. I was included on this video from GMA7 while I was plurking! hahaha

The program is about to close. Jayvee Fernandez giving the closing remarks. Me and Mica had some fun time at Cliquebooth before I drive home in a while. I finally met Kiven!

8:30pm- I went into this video booth of Flippish and promoted my blog as well as some funny remarks while doing 2 video clips infront of the camera.

9:00pm- A raffle was held and an N82 from Juned was given away, as well as 4gb usb flash drives.

Huge freebies from the Belo Medical group were given away. I had another photo-op with the winner Batang Yagit too.
