Davao Food Tour: Tadakuma

Tadakuma Davao by Maki Eduardo

We were late for lunch at Tadakuma, so we got the 2nd round of servings from the place. They served us the following listed below, but what I can say is that the servings are really filling that I was wondering how I can cope in the afternoon with a very full and aching stomach. :P

Yakisoba of Tadakuma, Davao City by Maki Eduardo

Yakisoba- 135php
The yakisoba was yummy. It went well with the Japanese fried rice they served us. Me and other bloggers shared a plate of it and we just couldn’t finish it. What I like about the Yakisoba in Tadakuma was the size of the noodles. They are not that big as other Yakisoba dishes from other restaurants.

Gyoza of Tadakuma, Davao City by Maki Eduardo

Gyoza- 110php
Their Gyoza tastes the same as what other Japanese restaurants can offer. What defines their Gyoza though is the sauce. I’m wondering what’s in their Gyoza sauce…it’s just yummy and a perfect dip for the Gyoza.

Beef Sukiyaki of Tadakuma, Davao City by Maki Eduardo

Sukiyaki- 380php
From the rest of the dishes, this was my favorite. One must also count the fact that the Sukiyaki soup was unlimited when we were there. The soup was just tasty and makes you want to eat more of from the big pot. My only suggestions for the Sukiyaki is the noodles. It was really an obstacle eating Sukiyaki with big noodles. Picking the noodles our of the pot into our bowls was a little messy, but then I have my two thumbs up for this dish. It’s really a must-have at Tadakuma.

Atuyaki Tofu -240php
Tofu is tofu. Its the sauce that makes the difference. For the price of this dish, it is really worth it, especially for those people who would like to enjoy a healthy and non-fattening meal. I ate it along with the Japanese fried rice. It’s yummy with lots of sauce with every bite.

California Maki of Tadakuma, Davao City by Maki Eduardo

California Maki -200php
Their California Maki reminded me of Teriyaki Boy’s BIG California Maki Servings. What I like best about their California Maki was that the ripe mango of the roll is just sweet. I usually eat a California Maki without dipping it on soysauce with wasabi. :p
