I, along with other bloggers like Jehzlau, Winston, Mica, Bryan, and others got invited to dinner and some cocktails at Nama Sakana at Connecticut St., Greenhills. The place is just located at the complex near Conti’s and a stone’s throw away from Belomed Greenhills. (Just perfect to eat or just hang out there after a facial eh? hehehe…
*Kidding*)
.

The place is really cozy, clean and bright on the inside. The sushi bar is just downstairs. Nama Sakana staff served us first with an appetizer of boiled greenbeans topped with salt:

Eda Mame- 100php

Next was Green Salad with seared tuna and vinegrette- 230php (Before this was called Sashimi Salad and one of the bestsellers of Nama Sakana, *scaled serving)

I liked the New Style Salmon Sashimi-320php (The sauce has that tempura dip taste to it, which makes the dish unique yet very delicious. I like Salmon Sashimi too in the first place.)

Black Cod with Sweet Miso- 660php (This dish was new to my tastebuds but it’s really juicy on the inside. See the three dots of Sweet Miso on the plate? It really goes well with the dish and adds that sweet taste to the Black Cod. I want more of the Sweet Miso on this delicious dish)

Beef Tobanyaki-800php (Mushroom attack! The mushrooms in this dish makes it very flavorful as they go well with the sauce. I like eating the beef with the smaller, yet tasty mushroom sprouts.)

We were also served with sushi.

We were already full from the sample of dishes that Nama Sakana graciously shared to us. Other than the appetizer and main dishes, they also served us some of their desserts namely:

Japanese Cheesecake-130php

Deep-dish Chocolate Cookie-130php (My fave
)
After getting full with all the food they served, we went to see the Nama Bar at the 2nd floor. It’s a different world up there! Haha, obviously it’s far from the bright and cozy first floor.
Surprisingly, the 2nd floor has KTV function rooms too.
Outside the restaurant, they also have Nama Grill where you can buy grilled food at reasonable prices.

I would like to thank the owners of Nama Sakana for the invitation to the event!
If you’re wondering where Nama Sakana is, here’s the map courtesy of the organizers of the event:

Ang ganda ng place. At mukhang masasarap mga pagkain. Dali pang puntahan. Ayos.
@Louis Dizon- Yeah ^_^ Very cozy and super clean!
I think my favorite roll is one that a vegetarian friend of mine turned me on to it just avocado, cream cheese, and cucumber. but you have to eat it with eel sauce. its to die for. i promise! {and i hate avocado too. Thanks
Interesting suggestion at Nama Sakana. I should really go back and try that.
