I’m on vacation mode lately. Last August 5, I was on a daytrip with my family back at the province. Nothing much to shoot really, and all I have to shoot with in the recent weeks is a converted Canon EOS 350d Infrared camera. I will still be on a nostalgic infrared picture posting spree in this blog, not until my camera returns after a Main board and DC board replacement from Canon. If not for local warranty, my 1000D can now be sold for…hmmmm, parts?
Shooting an an overcast kind of weather can be frustrating. I only took a few shots on one area of my lolo and lola’s property in Nueva Ecija. It was flooded on that area where I took few pictures. No ricefields to capture, it was a rainy day in that part of Central Luzon…and yeah, if I want to take pictures of ricefields I would have to get out of the gates. :p Here are the other pictures:

(It’s a rainy day at the property of my grandparents in San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija. There was this blocked drainage that needs some digging so that the flood inside the ricemill would subside, so my lola had heavy equipment sent in the area. This was on on the 1/8 of a part of my family’s property in the province.)
Compared to my previous post, I made a different color treatment for my infrared shots last Wednesday. I’ve been trying different color treatments, making a customized Adobe Lightroom preset, etc. I think it’s about time I purchase some books specializing in infrared photography. :p
Hi Ms. Maki… I just wonder how these pictures look in color…
