I’m a Tourist in my own Country

I have to be honest why I also formatted my blog to be a travel blog lately. It’s because of how I also feel that I’m a tourist of the Philippines. It’s just ironical to say that I’m a tourist at my own country, but it’s true!

I really haven’t explored much of the wonderful places in the Philippines. For one thing, at every moment I step towards any counter of book stores, I always wonder how those places captured look like and how I would be happy to also get snaps on those places.

For me, I don’t really feel bad in still feeling like a tourist at my own country. I was studying most of my life anyway. There’s just that much-filled joy and excitement lately when I started flying on my own, capturing places on my own etc. I feel very happy when I get to see new places, taste a selection of food that’s new to my tastebuds! I love the feeling and it’s pretty addicting! As far as I would like to satisfy the urge to travel, I bought this Lonely Planet Philppines book. It’s like an almanac on every place to travel about in the country. Just browsing the part of the book about Metro Manila made me realize that I only toured about 40% of it, so 60% more adventures to go to in the metro!
