Please Support Bangon Pinoy

Globe Telecom along with Gawad Kalinga Philippines launched this wonderful online campaign for the Typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng victims last week. It’s a twitter campaign and for every ‘#BangonPinoy‘ hashtag added to one’s tweets and inspirational quotes, a peso will go as a donation for the Typhoon Victims.

So for example one can tweet:

I support all the Filipinos who are doing their constributions to the Typhoon Victims #BangonPinoy

And that’s it! It’s so easy to tweet right? I hope most and if not, all of the members of the Twibbon Campaigns will support this. So if anyone who happens to read my post and has twitter and would like to help, just support the Bangon Pinoy campaign. Every tweet counts and I hope people can make most out of their time to use the hashtag. The Bangon Pinoy Campaign is until November 6, 2009 only so I’m personally spreading this to all Twitter users or people who would like to create their own Twitter Accounts.

The Donations from using the Bangon PInoy hashtag is only 1454PHP to this date as you can see on the screencap. Come on guys and gals! We can do more than that! Let’s Go! There are only a few days left to tweet with the hashtag. Globe Telecom’s peg for this campaign is 400,000PHP. So to all readers, let’s make the most out of it!
