Something I’m proud to have back in Central Luzon (specifically Nueva Ecija) are my relatives. My tita Susan (who I got the pictures from), along with other relatives and friends were able to show me the real situation back there with their point and shoot cameras. Right as of this moment, the last thing I heard from their end is that some main roads were immersed in flood after dams were opened to let go of some water pressure.

I’m hopeful that things wouldn’t get any worse from there anymore in the succeeding months. One thing I’m just fascinated about is the potential of my relatives to be photojournalists, capture the mood of things etc. The only thing I can do is more or less share to the world the pictures they have taken, and hopefully people who will see the pictures would also get a glimpse of how bad things are back there.
