I was able to eat one of Italianni’s House Specialties, which was their Grilled Pork Chops Au Poivre (425PHP). It comprises a pepper crusted pork chop, with a side dish of crispy sipanch, rosemary potatoes, carrots and mushrooms. Even without the sauce…it really looked delicious.

Shortly after it was served, the waiter then brought its special pepper-filled Marsala Sauce. I immediately poured the sauce on the grilled pork and finally cut the dish into pieces.

Everything on the plate tasted great- from the spinach alone, up to the the sweet and perfectly blanched carrots. I recommend ordering Italianni’s Garlic Rice (85PHP) to perfectly compliment this tasty dish. What I can only suggest to Italianni’s is to lessen the amount of whole pepper corns on the Marsala Sauce…

Were these shots taken with your brand-spankin’ new LX3?
@Mark- Oh yes!
I wish I had a Spydercube or Grey Cards tho…I had to manually adjust the white balance of the shots!
@Mark yep yep.. kanina. hehehe.
I want gray cards too!!! Wah!
Wow ang ganda ng kuha! Nagutom tuloy ako bigla!
Wow. Sarap naman. Nice pic.
Thanks guys and gals! I never really liked Italiannis..I had a bad experience of one of their pasta dish and that smoked salmon pizza of theirs..haha, but this dish was great!
I tried this one today. I had two porkchops instead of just one. They didn’t bring me my sauce though. They had a bit of it poured onto the porkchops already. This was in Greenhills, near Don Hen. So my experience was a bit bland. Good stuff nevertheless.
Oh noes..they forgot your sauce :p I also had an initial amount of sauce on the pork chops before I even poured more sauce from what the waiter gave.
wow. looks delicious. how’s the pork chop? is it salty? coz i like it salty. might try it if it is.
nice shots.
