It was already getting late at around 9 to 10pm when we got into a street where there were surprisingly a lot of foreigners. The curiosity started when we were passing by some streets with awesome sports cars, so we assumed there was something happening at some street.

After some encounters with sports cars, me and my mom finally made our way at Temple Street. Not quite far from the main road at our hotel back in Nathan Road, the street turns out to be one of the busiest roads in the Kowloon area at night which features a night market and a great place to eat fresh seafood dishes too. The action from Temple Street starts from 4pm in the afternoon until midnight.

The place reminded me much of Divisoria here in the Philippines, but much more organized and clean. People can expect to buy souvenirs, authentic tea sets, Chinese clothing, paintings, silk pillows, home decorations and all other sorts of collectibles.

The prices of items are reasonable and if you have the skills to haggle, this place is for you to shop. I can honestly say that there’s even less chances one may be swindled at this night market than dealing with some shops in Nathan Road. Hehe. :p

What I just can’t forget and something I recommend at Temple Street is this popular Seafood Restaurant with tables and chairs occupying most the road area. I’ll be writing about that in the next post. I think it’s that popular…most of the people eating at the place are obviously tourists.

I hope you tried the Typhoon Shelter crab
I always have it there when I drop by Temple street hehe and also the deep fried pissing shrimp
Hehe, I’ll blog about the food we ate there…Hmm crab and shrimp also!
Yum!
ang ganda ng sports cars waaaaaaaah!
