I had a very soy-rich meal at the Tiong Bahru Market in Singapore. It was great to eat there since it only took me a short walk from the Link Hotel to get there, and the prices of the food are affordable as well. In order get to the foodcourt, we had to go up the escalator.

Inside the Tiong Bahru Market, there was also a nice part in the cafeteria that enabled us to view of a part of the city and a very simple garden:

There..that was an introduction to the Tiong Bahru Market! :p
Back to the meal I ate, I had Sesame Chicken for lunch. It did cost me around 3.50SGD and for it’s worth, it was a good meal. The outside part of the chicken was greatly covered in sesame seeds that gave more crunch to the texture of the chicken skin. Just imagine the chicken meal I ate had a strong barbecue flavor to it, the only difference was it was crunchy and was greatly covered with sesame seeds. Yum yum! :p

Sesame Chicken Goodness
I also ordered a healthy drink on the side along with my meal for only 0.10SGD- Fresh Soy Milk. I just got to rave about the Soy milk at Tiong Bahru, other than being fresh, it was also huge… The size of a 60PHP 350mL Soy Milk in the Philippines is only approximately 33PHP in Singapore. Lots of savings for a healthy drink! On the other hand, I don’t recommend too much soy milk. (Anyone familiar with the rheumatic effects of foods with high Uric Acid content? Hehehe…)

I <3 Soy Milk
That’s all for another one of my Foodtrips in Singapore
