Little by Little

Last Saturday, me and my friends still made it to the venue of Jonel and Sago’s Pool Party. Too bad we didn’t make it on time, but the pool was still available for us so we just hanged out for a while. I got busy taking some pictures of the area and some random developments nearby.

While taking pictures, I was thinking of my target this 2010 to acquire my own property near my area of work, something people might doubt that someone my age wouldn’t really be successful in doing so. I’m serious if you will ask me, I have this hunger for independent urban living. Though people think I splurge on things, I’m more than 10% on the way to that target and counting as I’m able to save up as I’m able to save up my expenditures from work, my hobbies, travel and other things. I won’t give figures to the cost but I think some of you readers know how much properties are in Global City.

The challenge is to really gain control of your spending habits, without being unfair to what you need and sometimes what you want to reward yourself sometimes…and the headache of seeing the Peso-Dollar Exchange Rate fluctuating. So far, I’m just thankful that even if I had a car mishap and other unwanted expenditures, I’m still on track of my goal. I’ll see how it goes and how I can accomplish something for myself with my own money that’s all clean without any participation of corruption…it’s really time to grow up from just acquiring gadgets, clothing, shoes…basically things that only fall short of what I really need.I pray about this goal everyday, I’ll do my best to get there.
